The ‘World’s Greatest’ White Diamond this 118 carat oval white diamond was the largest colourless diamond to be offered at auction by either Sotheby’s or Christie’s In 2013. The GIA also report this gem was D colour with flawless clarity and excellent polish and symmetry, it was also the largest Oval shaped, D colour and Flawless diamond that the GIA had ever graded. The rough gem was only found in a Southern African mine and weighed 299 carats. the gem was sold for over $30 million.
